We are a home for art, essentially. The kind that believes in cultural vibrancy, that opposing paths have to meet somewhere, and that things can be done differently.

A structure for the creation, production and promotion of contemporary art, a place of support, personal and artistic evolution.

Drupa encourages research and to discover artists involved in the visual and performing arts, as well as in cinema, music, theater and dance.

Driven by the desire to intensify and exchange knowledge through creative practices, Drupa establishes relationships polyamorous and in the long term with male and female artists, aiming to create projects of character and proposing a program that crosses genres. A center to discuss and investigate collective phenomena and important themes that shape our world.

Project started by a very close-knit group born during a common university course and matured over years of love and comparison. Those types of people with eccentric work schedules, who invite friends and friends of friends to their house for dinner. Different energies and professionalisms that together have one goal: to make Drupa one home for art, where to create, learn and live.

We have trust in late-night chatter and simple pleasures; in borrowed books with pencil notes on the edges, in the ray of sunlight hitting a glass of freshly squeezed juice and in the scent of freshly picked fruit.

We thus return to the Latin root of the word – cura – to take care of; with the desire to take care of artists and the public that Drupa hosts. In a place where the contemporary meets details worn by time and love, like our wicker chairs on the veranda.

Drupa wants to offer a space in which you can question yourself, experience contrasting emotions, which invites you to go further, to always want to discover more. A place where even unexpected events can occur regularly.
