Corposensibile - Research Program of Screendance Cinema is an artistic research program dedicated to screendance, fostering a dialogue between dance and audiovisual language.
This initiative, aimed at both national and international artists, focuses on works that use the body and movement as narrative and poetic tools, ranging from formal abstraction to symbolic and iconic depictions of the human form.
Through an open call, we invite artists to submit their short films, which will be evaluated based on their ability to explore innovative connections between dance and cinema.
Selected works will be featured in an elegant presentation event, where the finalist short films will be screened, and the winners announced.
The first-prize winner will be offered an artistic residency at Drupa Centre to deepen their research. At the end of the residency, they will have the opportunity to publicly present their project through an open showcase.
A selection of short films will also be screened as part of the Venere in Teatro Dance Festival, curated by Live Arts Cultures (Venice), with whom we collaborate regularly to promote interdisciplinary research paths.
