RESIDENCY SHARING – FALSCH GMBH

On Wednesday, July 16, at 8:00 PM, Drupa Centre presents the residency sharing of the artistic collective falsch gmbh.

Founded in Berlin in 2024, falsch gmbh is a collective composed of two dancers (Milagros Velázquez Nanni and Carley Marholin) and two cellists (Clara Franz and Clara Baesecke). Together, they shape a performative language where music and dance merge into an organic, simultaneous, and inseparable vision.

The group’s satirical name stems from the awareness that in the art world — and even more so as women artists — it’s impossible to “do the right thing.” That’s why they choose to do what they love: after all, it will always be “falsch” to someone.

During the residency, the collective developed in (b)right & dark, a performative work in which two dancers, two cellists, and four stools explore the inner depths of the human condition across four scenes. A poetic confrontation with oneself, where bodies and sounds merge into a single, luminous emotional tension.
