Drupa transformed into a hidden stage, where the art of movement met the art of fabric: Balera Segreta.
Boston's talent could be captured in just one word: "Wow."
They danced, evoked places, reinvented objects, and our eyes followed every gesture, entranced.
As you wove new spaces, we read your story.
Without losing the thread, we traced your fabric—both the weave of your sweater and the arc of your narrative: the curve of your chin, the fold of your arm. Yours is a depth that even closeness can’t bridge, keeping us at the touch of a fingertip, at the edge of skin.
And between toasts and shared smiles, we let ourselves be wrapped in the movement, like threads in a single fabric.
With care,
your Drupa Ladies
What happens when you ask one of the most creative fashion lines, Lessico Familiare, to dress a talent like Boston Gallacher for a tailor-made performance?
The result is: Balera Segreta (Secret Ballroom)
A unique event, in a new secret location at Drupa Centre, where Lessico Familiare’s patchwork, deconstructed and reassembled pieces will merge with the movement of Boston Gallacher.
From Nederlands Dans Theater to Drupa Centre, it’s a short step.
From the cover of Vogue Italia, it’s just as close.
What else can we say? See you at Drupa.
Oh, and the event includes an aperitif dinner and a final cocktail bar ;)
LESSICO FAMILIARE
Patchwork garments, deconstructed and reassembled pieces, often oversized. Sustainable clothing for techno folk souls.
The brand Lessico Familiare, founded in 2020, is "an idea in constant evolution" that blends monotony with joy. Inspired by Natalia Ginzburg, it creates deconstructed and recomposed pieces from pre-existing garments, without fabric swatches or samples. Its unique creations, sourced from closets and markets, are textile collages enriched with frou-frou elements, pop references, and patchwork, embodying the concept of circular fashion.
